Watercolour Window Box Card

By | 05/02/2017

Just in case you thought the Window Box dies were only for creating the box here’s an idea using one of the dies in conjunction with bit of watercolouring to create a simple but elegant card.

To start, cut a piece of Shimmery White card stock slightly smaller than the top layer.  Spritz lightly with water and then using an aqua painter pick up colour from inkpad colours of your colour choice and randomly cover the card stock.  In this instance I have used Island Indigo (my favourite) and Perfect Plum.  Leave to dry completely.

Once dry, adhere behind a die cut image of your choice and layer onto a co-ordinating card base.

It really is very simple and quick yet very effective.

Happy stamping!

Christine
