On Saturday I attended the Creative Inkers Team Christmas Breakfast. This is an informal gathering of demonstrator from as far afield as Hamilton. As part of that gathering we can opt into a team swap, which involves the participants making a number of cards or small 3D items all the same, and then swapping them with others in the group. The idea being that we come away with a selection of items to use for our own displays and to encourage friendship amongst demonstrators.
This card was my contribution and uses the Joseph’s Coat technique. A good demonstration of this is done by Dawn Griffith. I have changed it a little by firstly creating the “white Happy Birthday” by clear heat embossing onto Whisper White card stock before starting the technique as demonstrated by Dawn. I have used the same colours but have opted for Night of Navy on top. The stamp set used is called Birthday Bright and is in the coming 2017 Occasions catalogue which starts on 4 January 2017.
Happy stamping!
Christine
